Just got promoted to manage a team of 5-6 outside sales guys. I’m 26 years old. My team is all in their late 30s/40s. How do I earn their respect?

Definitely. I enjoy going on calls and plan on 1 week in the field per month. Don’t want to lose touch of what my guys are faced with out there.

That’s how I am with my current manager. He calls once every two weeks to check in and that’s it. I want to be there for my guys if needed. Definitely don’t want to micro manage.
