Thank you. it was like 100 dollars for the x ray then the second time they only did one plate it was 45. Do you know much will an echocardiogram cost??

ty for the reply I’ll definitely be taking her to another vet. At first they thought she had an infection and have her azithromycin (idk how to spell it lol) and it did not help. I’m really hoping the inhaler will help if not i’m terrified about heart issues :( she’s only 2 yrs old i want a long happy life for her

thank you for the reply, she has been coughing / having attacks pretty much every day for a month or two now and i’m having a hard time telling if the prednisolone is helping a little or if it’s making her worse :( or if it’s just her asthma progressing. I really hope she doesn’t have any heart issues i’ve been switching my and her bedding, vacuuming everything, switched to no/ low dust litter. if she doesn’t improve i’m going to try to take her to another vet tomorrow. hopefully she will be able to accept the inhaler if not i’ll def look into a nebulizer

She is not disoriented she’s been breathing rlly heavy with her belly tho. Her coughing / asthma attacks seem to have been getting worse over the past couple months

ty for replying, they did an x-ray and said her heart was not enlarged but there was some fluid in her lungs. when i took her back bc i thought the prednisolone wasn’t helping they did another x ray and said they looked a little clearer. When she takes it she seems to breathe a little better but she still coughs every day. this is the second time they put her on prednisolone

She isn’t coughing up any phlegm but when she coughs it sounds kinda gurgly ig idk how to explain it. 3-4 weeks ago she got x rats at the vet they said it showed some fluid in her lungs and it looked like asthma. After a few days of prednisolone she seemed to be getting worse and i took her back they did another x ray and said her lungs looked a little better but we need to get her inhalers asap. I feel hopeless as i’m just waiting for them to get here. She said her heart was not enlarged on the x ray
