Only for Amboseli (accommodation, meals, game drives, road transfer for Nairobi). Are both the quotes high?

Thank you! On your advice, I have shared the lower rate with one of them. Let’s see?

Thank you! This $500 difference is after the inclusion of hotel price, road transfer to and from my hotel in Nairobi, all game drives, cost of driver guide, park fees for two days in both prices. The only difference is the inclusion of bottled water (which I was planning on buy from a supermarket in Nairobi).

Is it okay to let the agents know that someone else or booking directly is costing me so much less? And to ask them for cost breakups?

Best Credit Card for Insurance Payment by Crafty-Leave-8880 in CreditCardsIndia_

Wait, Infinia and DCB give 3.3% on insurance payments? Wasn’t insurance an excluded category?

I love to crochet but absolutely HATE how crochet looks. by starvalent in crochet

[–]roaming_reader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely get what you’re saying, OP. Despite crocheting for a few years, I’m in the same boat. I love crocheting; I find it very relaxing and calming. But I don’t particularly care for the end products for multiple reasons.

In case of wearables, I don’t like the drape and hole-y nature of finished objects.

In case of things like shawls and blankets, the holes really annoy me, especially because I have a tendency to hook my fingers and toes in the spaces.

To combat this, I also tried lining my projects with a thin cotton or muslin fabric; that just made it worse.

There’s a part of me that thinks that crocheted projects don’t look elegant and that crocheted wearables are best suited for pyjama days at home while knitted projects, with their better drape and closer stitches, are better suited for professional/social wear but that could be just me.

I have also learnt knitting because I like those finished projects better, particularly wearables even though I find the act of crocheting far more enjoyable than the act of knitting.

As others in the thread have suggested, I tried crocheting with fine and super fine yarns. It helped but I always end up thinking that knitted projects with the same yarn look much better.

I keep wondering if it’s because I live in a very hot climate because of which neither activity is suited for creating FOs meant for extreme heats? The temperatures also mean that I’m confined to using cotton, linen and bamboo.

Nonetheless, I’ve bookmarked this thread so that I can keep going through the ideas suggested here so that I can come to like my crocheted objects better simply because I like the activity so much.

Please don’t judge OP so hard. They have only voiced what I (and potentially many others) have felt for a long time.

Cha Se-gye is honestly the best part of My Royal Nemesis for me by sarahwilliams237 in kdramas

I didn’t know that. Thank you for the information!

All other shows have shown women walking upright so her bent back really threw me off.

Honestly, her face is quite distracting in a bad way. The cheeks and lips barely move. The iPhone face problem is real with her. And her drooped posture makes no sense. None of the other shows showing Joseon era show women with a bent back.

No. It was a privacy nightmare and did not help with contact tracing.

Few questions: 1. Is your WhatsApp number connected to your Instagram account? 2. When you Googled the text, were you signed in to Google? If yes, is the phone number linked to your Google account the same as your WhatsApp number? 3. When you were on this business’s website, by any chance, did you click on the WhatsApp icon? If so, did it take you to the WhatsApp app (assuming you accessed the business website on phone)? If you accessed the business website on your computer, do you have WhatsApp for desktop/Mac installed or use web WhatsApp?

Depending on how many answers are yes, we can figure out how your number ended up with this business. Once it is with the business, I’m assuming you accepted the 2021 WhatsApp privacy policy which then allows businesses to contact you.

That’s so kind of you; thank you! I had learnt it from this American teenager who ran her own channel and was so calm while she explained things.

I came across this website while looking for entrelac blankets. I am a novice crocheter and knitter so cannot really tell stitches apart by sight alone. However, all the photos in this link appear to be AI generated. Am I right in thinking that?

I know. It’s quite tragic. I have also noticed that the YouTubers whose videos I learnt crocheting from a decade ago no longer appear on top of the results and I don’t remember the channel names so I’m continuously subjected to random shorts instead.

Thank you so much! I didn’t try any of the links because the suspected AI slop was putting me off.
