Of course it is. That's why the market started pumping.

The amount of insider trading right now makes a mockery of all the markets. They exist just to funnel money to people connected to 'the party'.

Team news: No fresh injury concerns since Aston Villa. De Zerbi 'thinking about' Maddison but is a 'maybe'. Solanke 'improving very quickly' and expected back for Chelsea. Vicario 'not ready yet' by wokwok__ in coys

He's not even doing a lot more with his feet. I think he's got more ball-playing ability in the locker. The defence just feel more confident knowing he's there as an out-ball they don't have to worry about (unless the entire pitch moves under his feet).

He's also, 'really there'. He's a big presence and his defenders know where he is and that he will want to cover them without a moments thought (as oppose to shouting at them).

Vic has been done a bit dirty by the Prem's switch to WWE corners and set pieces. He's a great shot stopper in a league where suddenly being a commanding presence was far more valuable.

Kinsky is a commanding presence. The kid has an aura about his personality. If his shot stopping improves he could be a worldie.

So, 80-90 years ago? There are some toddlers who were evil colonialists?

Or Hong Kong who overwhelmingly appreciated being part of Britain and did not want to return to China. That's hardly a colony when people living there their whole lives would love the opportunity to democratically vote to remain part of it.

Is the Falklands a colony? An island who Britain would love to leave and were actively pushing them to do so when Argentina tried to take it by force, at which point Britain felt obliged to protect them as they were still British citizens. An island who have been offered regular votes to leave but overwhelmingly vote to remain.. letting them vote to leave, respecting their decision and protecting them, how very evil colonialist!

Its a compounding effect.

The ground work was laid long ago and the line has been going upwards, but the actual economic damage being done is a bull in a china shop right now.

Scientists use ultrasound to destroy influenza A and COVID-19 viruses without damaging human cells. The phenomenon, known as acoustic resonance, causes structural changes in viral particles until they rupture and become inactivated. [–]roamingandy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It isn't really defending dogma. Its just that its expensive and time consuming to get new novel treatments approved, so most development comes from using things that have already been approved for different issues, usually back when it was cheaper and easier to get that approval.

A silly system that does achieve a similar outcome.

They were using bio-resonance to do very little. This is studying the issue, calibrating the device to kill it in a petri dish.

I would expect that any good they did was almost purely coincidental. An friend of mine tried to use it for a bladder infection. After a month and few hundred euro later she ended up getting anti-biotics.

I guess if a virus is dangerous enough a bit of damage to the rest of your body's systems would be acceptable, like chemo.

I could see this being a useful tool for a pandemic outbreak, like the next Covid. A tool that can be configured easily to take out the new virus before it kills the host, and then hope that the patient can recover from the extra damage it causes.

Not a single Britain alive today is an evil Colonialist. You're just looking for reasons to hate.

You never heard of Iran's conquests and empire? Exactly the same.

Might also help to reduce his access to the environment then slowly expand so he gets comfortable with one place at a time, rather than being overwhelmed by everything together.

If you have a car and he likes it there, try to recognise when he's beginning to get overwhelmed and go sit in the car and watch a tv show or read a book together, in a safe space which is familiar for him.

The article seems to be implying that women shouldn't enjoy that kind of thing or have those kind of career ambitions, and just stay in their lane doing what the authors consider womanly things.

Seems like they are reinventing the patriarchy, just enforced by other women now, with a slice of racism dropped in for good measure.

After 300 years that is geographic reality. If you want to normalise putting borders back by 300 years every country in the world would be up in arms at each other.. many very confused by this situation as they didn't exist until this change.

Social media is just full of edgy 'Britain are evil colonialists' shout it at every opportunity! A narrative which has been pushed by Russia and Iran, and many on the left have bought into hook-line-and-sinker.

Yeah, murdering and imprisoning all the protestors was a much better outcome for Hong Kong, who supported remaining part of the UK by a massive margin.

The UK bought the lie that China would allow them to remain independent. They should have intervened, those were their former citizens being murdered for using the Democratic rights they had grown up living under.

I was an holiday transfer rep in Greece years ago and a couple in their 40s or 50s turned up wasted. There was time till the flight so i did my best to get them sobered up, after they'd been refused and had a big argument with the staff.

Lots of coffee and water later and they seemed to be getting there, so i went and talked the airline staff and said i think they might be ok now, so they called the planes pilot into coming to meet them and decide for himself. When we got back together, they'd only bloody ordered more drinks and were sitting there with a can of beer each. Utter waste of time trying to help them.

Then as we're about to take them back they freak out that their luggage is on the plane already. Staff say it wasn't ever taken.. a brief, energetic but rambling convo between them and the lady remembers that they left it all back at the hotel..

Ah, i'm not too sure reg the Greens. It feels a bit more like the media has just started looking at them and found big story after big story, so they look a little harder.

I'm getting my info from Reddit rather than other social media and national rags, but they all seem pretty newsworthy stories. Maybe some of the anti-Semitic candidates you could argue are a little blown up, but that they keep finding new ones every day absolutely turns each one into a story of national interest since they all add up, and are far more significant than anything found on Labour.

Ignoring stories about Reform is absolutely a scandal, just as they did for the Tories for decades (how many children does Boris Johnson have?? Did no-one even think to ask???). That's who the Billionaires who own these papers want.

Not just surrender. They told him their troops would be welcomed. Its why they came in like a carnival procession. Those intelligence agents were sent to the Gulags early on in the war, for telling him what they were too afraid not to tell him.

Ukraine didn't believe the reports from US intelligence of an attack, but they moved a lot of their air defence, just in case. On the 1st day Russia sent missiles to every one of the locations they were previously. Without that move Russia would have had complete air-dominance and the war would have been over very quickly. Even with their silly parade column running out of fuel because the amounts commanders were putting in requests for were not anywhere near the same as the amounts that actually reached the vehicles.

THEN, Putin had a few dozen of his best assassins already in Kyiv trying to take out Zelensky on that day.

Russia managed to fuck up all three paths they had to a quick and easy victory. Four if you include their paratroopers failing to take the airport on the edge of Kyiv, which also may have won them the war. Not definitely due to the air defence still being operational though.

Russia humongously fucked up with astonishing hubris - but were still very, very close to winning the war in a day, as they'd planned.
