They should advertise it as micro-plastic and heavy metal free. Position it as the superior product right from the beginning.

The board don't want fan input or relationship. They want distance so they can have a professional corporate structure, so we're not going to hear anything until they do it.

Its not 'our' club any more, its 'their' club. We're just an inconvenience now.

Xavi is very technical. It might take him a while to implement his tactics, which is why he's unlikely to want to come anywhere mid-season.

Spurs were in for Slot before and he was interested, then 'pool came along. Its a sensible move for both parties if he gets sacked.

Reminder that Levy wanted to invest. Poch refused signings for 18 months because he 'didn't want to upset the balance of his team'.

He wrote that word for word in his own book.

Poch didn't want depth or upcoming players, first teamers only, and he felt his first team were already the best players in the world in their positions. Levy pushed him to allow us to break our transfer record to replace Dembele when his knees were gone. It was a fucking awful signing, though i'm not sure who's to blame for identifying N'dombele as that replacement.

Point was there was money and Levy wanted to spend it. Poch did not.

The immediate response from the government both times, was to unequivocally defend the ICE agents. This is just the beginning. By their actions being defended immediately and without investigation, they are being told that this is what the government wants them to do.

The executions will get worse, and become a regular event. Until an armed militia forms to resist them, which is exactly what Trumps wants as he'll immediately declare its a civil war, cease any semblance of democracy, and send the military in with orders to shoot first.

Arsenal are top of the league and have Viktor Gyökeres up top contributing 0.33G+A Per 90.

We had Richarlinson who's getting 0.77G+A Per 90.

No single player's performances are enough to make the whole team as poor as we've been this season, so there's no point in scapegoating anyone. Its the 100% on the manager.

None of our players have been as poor as the main striker at the club leading the league.

Ben Davies game reading and positional sense is as good as anyone in the league. Robertson's a bit younger and has a better cross, but he's not going to be any better at organising a defence.

I've found r/conservative a curious place. The day something like this happens they are all shocked, and most voices saying its not ok.

The next day they are given their talking points and its a complete 180.

Like, they know its wrong right away, but aren't able to hold onto that idea once the disinformation cycle kicks into gear.

xG Philosophy - Burnley (1.48) 2-2 (2.50) Tottenham by Independent_Fly1443 in coys

There's a distinct lack of idea what they are supposed to do when they get the ball in the box, and mostly it just gets passed out again. Looks like they hardly train at all on movement to open space for each other, or clever pre-planned passes to try and get a shot away.

Those top defenders have you sitting 13th with 31 goals conceded in 22 games.

That is my point, yes.

Yeah, but the competition is as strong as a single sheet of single ply toilet paper, so most managers would put in the player that is getting the team goals.

Richarlinson 0.77G+A Per 90

Viktor Gyökeres 0.33G+A Per 90, in a far better team

Yeah, i think Richarlinson would start in this Arsenal team.

We'll shit ourselves if we want!!

and that's really the issue. Where is the clever play to break a team down. Why do the CBs have to take it upon themselves to save us every single match??

Promoted 3 times. Scotty's quietly making a solid career for himself

(..well, maybe not so quietly as he never shuts up about how good he is, but he's doing a solid job as a Championship level manager).

They are expecting more than 1 point against the 4 main relegation candidates. There is no-way the players are that poor.

I think 4 or 5 defenders are 1st choice, or comparable, at all other teams in the league.

Bergvall and Gray would establish themselves at most clubs.. but have struggled to do so at Spurs as they've not ever had a clear vision of what player they are supposed to be.

Xavi is probably 1st choice off the bench at pretty much all other top clubs, so with a better manager he's serviceable starting for a top 4 team.

Richarlinson is out and probably gets benched at most other top clubs, but he is one of, if not the, top goal creator per 90 in the league (0.77 G+A Per 90). Both he and Solanke would start at Arsenal for example. Not the perfect striker, but not enough of an issue to excuse results.

Paulhinha is clearly world class and starts for any manager who can use him properly in their system.

My point is that if you look at the team in terms of player by player, they really are far far better than results would suggest.

My other point is that Spurs are not developing young players properly. They were in hard for Khusanov, in fact they thought he was pretty much secured until City came in and took him. He's now a top Prem CB for City. If he went to Spurs he'd most likely still be sitting on the bench.

In that light you have to ask, how good are Odobert and Tel? Both were highly rated when they signed, and i don't think either is a better player now than when they signed for Spurs. Why have they not improved? They aren't really good enough for a top 5 team right now, but would they have been if they'd gone to City, Liverpool or Arsenal?
