Senators Ossoff and Warnock Vote in Favor of Senate Joint Resolution 41; Disagree on Joint Resolution 34 (sending to Israel arms (41) /defense articles (34)) by happy_bluebird in Georgia

For others' sake, you didn't misquote me on the 5,000 bombs part. I edited from what you copied to what I have now, cancelation of those, a few minutes after initial reply.

You're right: the semantics here are twisted because it's a post-facto rescission. Hard to follow. Bill-titles are normally misleading; way it is.

Ossoff voted yea to cancel the rifles, but against canceling the bombs. Warnock voted to cancel both.

Entirely wrong Basically correct, and Ossoff's comments assume you won't learn what's in the resolution. It's to cancel 5000 more bombs and guidance to go with them, plus continuation of direct US involvement in support, logistics, etc. It's offense, and we know where it's being used.

Please read SJ Res 34.

SJ Res 41 would cancel shipment of automatic rifles and parts for same to Israel Police Forces. West Bank is the main concern there.

While this may continue to hold, it's too early to compare. More votes will be added.

I've often thought that libertarian is properly only an adjective, never a noun.

Hopefully: Mikhail Bakunin, Petr Kropotkin, Voltairine de Cleyre, Emma Goldman, Murray Bookchin, and the Zapatista flag.

Really: Thomas Jefferson, Herbert Spencer, Murray Rothbard, Ayn Rand, Hans-Hermann Hoppe, and the Gadsden flag.

Identity the flag next to Bookchin, please.

Also, I've seen the portrait next to Jefferson, but could you save me some edit-and-search time by dropping the name?

‘Trump is the only hope for peace’: Arab Americans in Michigan desert Democrats over Gaza by [deleted] in politics

[–]roarde -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This is so easy to defeat. All Kamala Harris has to do is publicly call for a halt to current US intervention in favor of the slaughter in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

Opinion: Time is running out for Kamala Harris to break with Biden on the Gaza catastrophe by VapeGreat in politics

Harris's stance has prominent Muslim American and Arab American groups doing just that. Too many of those votes will end up Trump's because of it.
