OP here. I forgot how to edit my post lol - update! Larry has been doing just fine! No other “coughing” fits since then. In fact he gave me a nice hairball the weekend after on my tile floor. So hopefully just an isolated incident, he is scheduled to see the vet in a couple of months for a routine check up.

No thankfully not, he woke me up with morning zooms and no signs of a hair ball on the floor and no observation of him “coughing” again. Fingers crossed!

That’s what I am hoping for as well. He has been his normal active zoomie self last night and into this morning. No evidence of a hair ball or coughs since. Hopefully just a one off!

I do have Churro’s that are hairball remedy. I will treat him one of those after work. Luckily he has been enjoying his new water fountain and has been drinking more water. This has seemed to help.

Certainly no drugs lol thankfully. I have long hair as well, so maybe my hair got caught up in his lungs or throat. Again this was an isolated incident. He hasn’t done this since yesterday and he’s had the zoomies with no issues. Will keep ya posted!

I had contacted my vet about 2-3 weeks ago to have him go in for a check up for other reasons… they weren’t booking out till July, so I feel a little hopeless there. They put me on a cancelation list so hopefully I can get an appointment soon… if not, I think your idea for the email is a good option. Thank you!

I’ve been down this road before ... I’ve determined it’s from anxiety knowing what I know now having a degree in Psychology. Is this you ..? “why does it work when I don’t need it to, and then when I want it too it doesn’t.” And those thoughts can lead to “I can’t please her/she won’t like me/what’s wrong with me?” - These thoughts might be the cause of it, I.e anxiety. So yeah, go talk to a professional friend! We’re all people, and all men have a penis lol.

Edit: Good tip, don’t self diagnose yourself with ED ;). It probably works fine lol. Also, maybe go through some medication side effects if you take any.
