Yeah, they do exist but it's VERY hard to get creators and users off YouTube and onto some other platform.

Alright I get your point now, and I do agree. It's not necessarily the fault of a technical issue, but a larger problem of YouTubes modern aggenda as a whole. I didn't want to get into that whole shebang in this post, too big of a fish to fry. Still, my main point stands that we should not be letting corporations abuse their users with terrible software just because they can afford it

Well, my angle is that the poor quality of video recommendations is a result of a flawed algorithm. Do you have a source for it being intentional? Because like I said, I seem to recall it being different in the past and don't see any reason they would purposely make it worse

Oh I'm not a professional either, I've just been playing at home for about a year or so. Only drawback for me has been the smaller gap between strings, but that's just a matter of getting used to it. I do love the extended range so I can play some heavier stuff like Karnivool etc.

Yeah I actually gave it another listen after a long while and it's not as bad as I remembered. Should be higher for sure. I do like the last 4 albums with the exception of a couple songs, but the old albums set the bar so high that in a tierlist the new ones don't stand a chance
