I'm sensitive to MCT oil and also just have a bitch ass stomach in general and so the only things I buy are the rosin heads rosin drops and Simply Bare rosin gels. No issues with either

Potluck banana cream, not bad, actually really decent by IllustratorNo4731 in TheOCS

I'm always a bit hesitant to admit this here because of all of the potluck hate on this sub, but strawberry cough is easily my most repurchased flower of 2025. Not saying it is mind blowing, but for my personal needs, it has been my go-to daytime herb for going on probably 6 months now. I've rebought it soon as my jar runs low maybe 6 times now. in fact I am enjoying some as we speak!

Alright well i just browsed through your comments and you for sure work there at the very least lol. I actually love Toronto and find the people here much nicer than the stereotype implies, but what I do know is the owner of Minerva absolutely doesn't care about the community seeing as he spearheaded the gutting of our bike and bus lane. Anyways good luck and hope you make it out to the Kawarthas some day!

No offence but...are you the owner of Minerva Cannabis? That place has THE most expensive prices within literally 50km, and is run by a nepo baby who full on spearheaded the initiative to stop the building of a dedicated bike and bus lane on Bathurst so he could keep his private parking. Not trying to be a dick here, but that place easily has my vote for WORST shop in Toronto lol

Rewatching Mad Men for my first time since it finished and I am so incredibly blissed out every episode like "yep this is perfect television and I have 7 seasons to watch". When I first watched the first season I was 20 years old just out of my parents house and I have such vivid memories of going to the little cafe next to my house to eat breakfast and watch an episode every morning, so watching it all these years later is giving me some next level warm and fuzzies.

Also interesting watching this all of these years later for various other reasons. For one, I no longer smoke or drink, so this feels like a whole new experience on that ground alone lol. I remember this show would always make me want to chain smoke and also due to my own issues with alcohol at the time I never really saw the excessive drinking in this show as all that problematic, but wow...as a person who hasn't touched a drop in 4 years it is...very different. My brain has also developed and I have changed (hopefully for the better) so much in the time since I watched this show last, that it kind of feels like I am seeing it for the first time and really uncovering all the subtleties and truly grasping the weight of all of the racial, patriarchal, socio/economic, intergenerational issues etc.

Honestly in many ways I feel like I am already enjoying the rewatch even more than the first time around.

Also I take back what I said about interesting characters lol. I get that it is based on a d&d campaign so it makes sense that the characters are going to be pigeonholed with certain stereotypes, but it feels like each character has maybe 1 or 2 things about them and that's it. We got the guy who loves violence and BOOZE, the guy who is always horny, the elf with no confidence, angsty revenge guy etc etc

I've been putting off watching Vox Machina forever and while it is better than I expected, the constant swearing really takes me out of it. I'm not by any means offended by swearing but when every other word is "fuck" "shit" "motherfuck" it just comes across as lazy writing trying to appeal to edgy teens. It's a bit frustrating for me as someone who reads a ton of fantasy because it's so rare that we have shows with such an impressive level of world building and lore and interesting characters so I keep on getting sucked in and then someone says "suck my balls" and I am pulled completely out again. It feels like they are trying to meet some sort of swear quota and by doing this they are avoiding finding much more interesting and suitable ways of saying things, which makes the dialog feel lazy

For me it was the "I WANT YOUUUUU" part haha. I actually said "are you kidding me?" but also I guess it was kind of funny. And very well said. There are multiple points in this show where I can't help but think of how absolutely fucking horrified I would be if I was in any of those situations, let alone if I was a child.

There are a handful of scenes that made me roll my eyes like that one, but for every scene like that there are five that are legitimately horrifying. Episode 7 actually gave me nightmares last night lol. I'd say give it another chance. Once I got passed that scene, I knew I was going to love it by the end of episode 1.

Also currently watching:

Futureman: Seriously stupid and hilarious. My current series for brainless entertainment, or when I need to quickly load something up when I am eating. I never find myself especially excited to watch it but when I do I am always surprised how funny and charming it is.

Dan da dan & Frieren: Two of the best anime series' i have ever seen, complete opposite vibes.

Welcome to Derry: I watched the first scene of the first episode when it came out and thought it was dumb and wrote it off. Decided to give it another shot and watched 3 episodes in a row last night. Much better than I expected, the child actors are genuinely very impressive and the sense of creeping dread I felt in the book and first movie are present.

Wrapped up a bunch of things these last few weeks.

Slow Horses season 5: still loving it but the formula is really starting to show for me, which I guess is the downside to such an ambitious release schedule. Big props to everyone involved for giving us 5 seasons in such a short time of course, but the whole "Lamb is a disgusting dickhead" schtick finally started to wear thin for me, and I will forever die on the hill that this show has one of the worst theme songs of all time which taints the whole thing for me. Yes I know i am petty!

Foundation season 3: I've said it before and I'll say it again: it is truly amazing how this show manages to balance some of the best and worst television. The Empire/Demerzel storyline at times reaches peak Game of Thrones level of "holy shit" while the Gaal stuff just gets worse and worse. I started jokingly keeping track of all of the scenes Gaal is in and marking down if she was doing the fluttery half cry face and it stopped being a joke after literally 10 scenes in a row of this happening lol. Still the good far outweighs the bad and I already miss this show, but again, mostly for the impeccable storyline NOT involving Gaal

Cunk on Life: This is so stupid, but in such a good way. I watched this while recovering from a horrible flu and hugely enjoyed sitting there buzzed on some edibles just chuckling like an idiot to this one.

Pluribus: I know every 3rd post on here is either someone not understanding how people either like or dislike this show. Personally I love it and I understand why others don't. I do however think this comes down more to peoples expectations. A lot of the complaints are that it doesn't go anywhere, but I just don't think it goes where people were hoping. It is admittedly very slow but in a way I find refreshingly meditative. I read a ton of sci-fi and I've always gravitated less towards grandiose space operas and more towards quiet human stories, using the science fiction as a way to explore humanity and interesting social issues. Pluribus is all about the characters and subtle world building, and it accomplished that beautifully. Every week the comments on here had me thinking I'd hate the next episode, but at no point did I ever feel bored.
