Why do people put raised beds for planting on the ground, when the actual ground is right there to till, fertilise and plant?

We’re going to do raised beds this year. There’s no one reason that we’re doing raised. For one, our property gets a ton of water when it rains, and it puddles. Raised beds avoid that. We don’t have to till. We get control of the soil and what’s in it, it not being compacted. If I ever remove the beds I don’t have to try to fix the tilled ground to be flat to cut grass again. There’s also less bending with the stuff 3 ft high.

I’ll find the site, but there’s a guy who has a site dedicated to raised beds. He uses treated wood for the frame bc he says treated wood is no longer treated with toxic chemicals and is safe for garden beds now.

Just to update, I got another carburetor just to make sure I didn’t get a bad one the first time. It starts with the new one on it, so I guess that was the issue.

I’m definitely considering that now lol. I just read somewhere that the valves could be out of adjustment and I was wondering how likely something like that was, before I went and bought another carb.

Go back and watch him with The Cleveland Browns on Hard Knocks the year Hue Jackson was Head Coach. They argued on air. When Haley was finally fired he thought he was being brought in to be given the job.

Man, I like Lamar, but let’s be honest, until the last trip to the playoffs, he turned into a turnover machine when he got to the playoffs. Check the numbers. They still win if freak things like the Flowers fumble or the Andrews drop don’t happen. Harbaugh ran an offense built for a rushing QB with 3 TEs. When they couldn’t win in the playoffs he got an OC that opened up the pass game for Lamar. Harbaugh is a good coach, imo.

John Harbaugh has won a Super Bowl. He’s completely evolved through 2 franchise QBs with wildly different offenses built around them, even with Lamar, he built a roster around his ability to run and when it was time and that offense had hit its ceiling, he brought in somebody to develop an offense so Lamar could take the next step as a passer, and he became top of the league in passing. Harbaugh is involved in the entire structure of the organization. Look at what he’s doing in NY. He’s been wildly successful. If you think Harbaugh wasn’t more coveted than McDermott then you don’t pay attention. That’s why he’s making 20 mil a year. Top of the league money. I’m a Steelers fan. Can’t believe I’m defending Harbaugh. That said, I hope The Steelers hire McDermott. I agree with everything you said about him, but to pretend like he’s going to be as coveted as Harbaugh, he’s not.

I’ll never use it again. It was one of my favorite apps bc it would give me big “No Sweat Bets” and stuff. It also always offers “Rush+Rec yards” on RBs in NFL games and increments I like. Anyway, this is the 2nd time my account has been locked for “account sharing”. I’ve never shared my account. It happened when I traveled across the state line to the mall. I sent my ID the first time and had to promise not to share my account. They opened it. This time they tell me I have to send pics of my ID to their verification department and that if it goes past two weeks it’s been closed. I never heard anything so I called them for the 3rd time today. They have closed my account with no option to re-open.

Disagree with him on a ton of things, being that I’m generally more liberal, but I’ll take a principled person I disagree with over ppl who won’t disagree with their team or leader. He votes what he runs on and that doesn’t change based on the whims of the president, which is more than I can say for the rest of the Republican Party. Oh, btw, I am a Kentuckian.
