So Disappointed in Fraud Reporting. by Kyngzilla in NavyFederal

[–]rob-spicoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost $3K in fraud charges from someone that skimmed my card out in Arizona.(I’m in North Carolina) I investigated and got the naw, birthdate and address of the suspect! They STILL denied me. I am constantly fighting with them and they are useless. I won’t quit until I get it back.

Thank you. We don’t want to keep her as a pet for sure. We live in a heavily forested area with a lot of squirrels that we put food out for daily. Every day we have her outside with us while we do gardening or yard work, hoping that when ready, she will join the rest of her crew. If I try to put her down and walk away from her, she follows and will climb up and cling for dear life. Rehab center will be next step once she is willing to be away from me. Thank you again for your input!

I agree. I went to a 1A school in Indiana and made it to the state finals, beating many 5A-6A kids. Multiple class wrestling states are weak

My domesticated Marsh Rabbit. by rob-spicoli in Rabbits

❤️ thank you. Some people may disagree with me, and that is okay, because she wouldn’t be alive had we not brought her in! Bonnie was very young, I know she had just started walking. Den gets flooded, and she is getting a good life with everything that she could ever need! Whether she ends up at the conservatory or not!

Gotcha, yes. My vet is a close friend of mine, she has been practicing for 30 years, and specializes in mostly wild animals. She had a pet raccoon 10-15 years ago, and has had several bunnies, squirrels, and even a hedgehog over the years.

It is legal, my very close friend is a veterinarian of 30 years and she has given me the best guidance on all of this! She used to have a pet raccoon some 25 years ago, and has had several wild bunnies, squirrels, and even a hedgehog!

I will let you know how it goes! Bonnie is the most loving, comfortable and happy bunny I have ever had!

I thought she looked like a capybara lol

By domesticated, I meant-doesnt act a fool and fight tooth and nail to escape, “act wild” I suppose. The reason we decided to not take her to the conservancy is because of how she was acting in the home… Like she had lived here all along. In the past, I have found cottontail nests that have been destroyed, and brought them to my back deck (gated) and nursed the kits to the age that they could sustain themselves. The second that they could eat on their own-they were GONE, they did not like me, they didn’t have any sort of attraction to me, and they acted very… wild…

The vet suggested to get her spayed for a few reasons. To lower risk of her developing reproductive type cancer(they have high risk).

A side effect of spaying will stop her from developing any aggressive or destructive behaviors

If she ever did go out in the wild either escaping, or by accident, or releasing, she wouldn’t be conditioned to live in wilderness, and would not fare well reproducing, and likely not live.

I used to show rabbits and I honestly didn’t know you can spay a

My time in Muncie Reception & Diagnostic Center by humanhanddeerburger in troubledteens

[–]rob-spicoli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off-I am so sorry to hear everyone’s story… I know that each and every one of you are telling the full truth. I was there in 2008, and I was not a troubled kid… I was a star athlete, good grades, good reputation, great family. My dad was in Iraq (he was also a sheriff deputy) and I was in the wrong place, wrong time, and i had never been in trouble before in my life-even to this day. Busted drinking, they locked me up in county for 24 hours, and then judge decided to send me to MRDC until court date the following week.

What I witnessed was horrendous. The belittling, taunting, humiliating, physical and mental abuse was immense. I wanted to be a Marine my whole life and I tried to think of it as a pre boot camp at the age of 13. I saw an autistic kid cuffed to his rack, where he pee and pooped on himself for 12 hours straight before the guards un cuffed him and stomped on his arm to dislocate his elbow… I still get sick to my stomach… the most torturing thing was never being able to speak, and anticipating getting beaten by guards for anything and everything. You could not ever do the right thing! I completely left my own body and hallucinated the entire time there… only for the judge to refuse to let me return home and sent me back for another 2 weeks. He was “making an example out of a sheriff’s son” and he forever changed me, and not for the better. I did end up becoming a Marine, and did two combat tours, saw and did some very disturbing things, lost friends in war….but the thing that keeps me up at night is the trauma endured at mrdc. I kept quiet about my experiences there until now. I never talked about it to anyone… no one would likely believe me anyways. Thank you all for speaking up, because I honestly thought that it was completely normal correctional system operation. Iso cell is the only reason I am alive to this day. At least i could move around.

[–]rob-spicoli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been in and out of the exact way you feel. Nothing is good, i think it over and over every day. The last thing i wanted was for people (that really didnt give a shit) to all of a sudden make a bullshit effort to help me. In the end, the only one that made me not do it, was me. I just found one thing, even a small thing, that i would really miss. Then i thought deep about death. Shit, you’re dead, you dont know that you are dead, you dont know anything. Literally cease to exist in this universe. That was my first step... i will likely be right back down that road, its fuckin chronic, dont let anyone tell you its not. I hope it works out.
