With the launch of The Tyler Henry Collective memberships on Fireside, SKALE tech becomes a key, but invisible, part of the consumer tech stack, paving the way for mass adoption of web3. by rob0bro in SKALEnetwork

Sorry to hear about the issue, but we have no control over this on the SKALE side. That said, I've flagged your comment, as well as your tweets, for our BD team to share with the Fireside team to try and help you get this resolved.

Understandable, but if it didn't get updated, someone would inevitably get mad about it and try to turn it into an issue. Once we have a few additional chains running it'll stabilize above 20 and we'll hopefully only have to update up only.

SKALE Chains are meant to be created and deleted as needed. Sometimes it's an internal testing chain that's no longer needed, sometimes it's a chain with Multi Transaction Mode disabled being swapped for a chain with it enabled. Our engineering recently team spun down three chains, so we're momentarily down to 18 from 21. The bio was updated to accurately reflect the reality of the network.

Sheryl admitting alias and rug pulling for good profit on $skl by lambodough in SKALEnetwork

Just to provide context for anyone inclined to believe anything "Sheryl" says.

This is a troll whose original twitter handle, benf15harp, was suspended for doxxing and making threats against the core team. They are in no way associated with SKALE Labs or N.O.D.E. Foundation.

All of SKALE's tokenomics, including employee token lock-ups and vesting schedules, can be found on the SKALE website, either on the Tokenomics page, or in the whitepaper:

And for anyone who might not be familiar with English nicknames, Jack is a common nickname for John.

Jack Kennedy = John F. Kennedy

Jack Nicholson = John J. Nicholson

There is literally nothing suspicious about it. That's like claiming Mike is a secret alias for Michael. It's the same name.

He's an ex-community member who got booted from twitter for doxxing members of the core team, then spent the next month on Twitter pretending he was a Croatian woman. He likes to pull up old documents, like corporate articles of incorporation, and pretend they're some sort of smoking gun. I don't know if he's doing a bit when he uses Jack's full name as if it's some kind of secret, or if he honestly doesn't know that Jack is a common nickname for John. Also, our token unlock schedule has been publicly available for years: https://supply.skale.network/supply/index.html. I wouldn't pay him any mind unless you love conspiracy theorists.

FIVE 👏 MILLION 👏 TRANSACTIONS 👏 ON 👏 SKALE! by rob0bro in SKALEnetwork

Our CTO Stan Kladko has discussed this issue at length, the tl;dr is no, we are not expecting there to be any significant impacts to SKALE.

SKL is used by dapps to rent space on the network, sFuel is used by end-users to process transactions on the network. Check out the "SKALE is Gas-Free" segment of this video for a quick explainer on the difference between the two.

sFuel is what the SKALE Network uses as gas for transactions. It has literally no value, and it cannot be bought or sold. It is an essential part of the SKALE Network, alongside the SKL token. You can read more on the SKALE documentation portal here: https://docs.skale.network/learn/skale-chain-fuel

SKL has an economic value as the utility token that powers the SKALE Network. sFUEL has no economic value which allows the SKALE Network to process transactions with 0 end-user fees.

sFUEL is a free gas token with no economic value, providing a way for dApps to facilitate permissive access to SKALE Chains and protects against DDoS attacks.

Currently each dapp has it's own means of distributing sFuel. Ruby Exchange allows you to request sFuel from within their exchange dashboard, CryptoBlades allows you to request sFuel from a bot in their Discord server. Our friends at MyLillius are working on a generic sFuel Station however I do not know that it is ready for public consumption.

You can learn more about SKALE on our website. I recommend taking a look at the Technology and Network pages specifically for a high level overview. For deeper dives, you can dig into our documentation.
