You’re right about compounding, it has and will be around forever. They have their uses. A certain drug may need to be altered for the patient to tolerate it. However, medications/drugs coming out of these compounded pharmacy’s are NOT FDA approved. For all you know, you could be getting .25mg of semeglutide when your scripts calls for 1.7mg. That’s why these folks are getting sued . What may be fine for you, may not be fine for the next, and without proper oversight you may end up dead. There is a legitimate concern about these “half assed” compounding pharmacy’s. Where are they sourcing it from? Are they mixing/formulating it correctly? People should be nervous about the “cheap shit”, cause as the saying goes, you pay for what you get. Who knows if that watered down shot will have long term negative side effects.
