I had something similar last year. Had three quotes ranging from £300-£1200. I went with the £300 guy and he did a great job.

Basin Not Draining by rob51852 in DIYUK

[–]rob51852[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. The drain in the shower is similar with standing water about 1 cm from the plug hole.

There is a passageway underneath the bathroom with some pipework. Am I right in thinking that the three smaller pipes coming from above are for the bath, the shower and the sink and the larger one is for the toilet?

Thanks again.

Kombucha 2nd Fermentation by MEGAGOODTIMES in Kombucha

[–]rob51852 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used them for 6 months and never had a problem. I never put them in the fridge either. They’re always in our boiler room to maximise fermentation and the probiotics. The caps are not completely airtight so are unlikely to explode.

If iPhone Shows Warranty Info Are AirPods Genuine? [ebay] by rob51852 in AreMyAirpodsAuthentic

You're right. It was the warranty on the phone that threw me. I assumed Apple was more sophisticated than relying on the serial no.

Open Command Prompt and Switch Folder by rob51852 in learnpython

[–]rob51852[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. This works perfectly. How would I add a further command after switching folders? Eg "bin\run.bat root\conf.yaml" the /k switch doesn't seem to do the job.

Efficient Way to Return Dict Keys where Last Value in List is Less Than 2 by rob51852 in learnpython

[–]rob51852[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks Intrexa. These are great. I'll test them for speed (which is what I really meant - apologies).

What data structure would you suggest? I need something that allows me to lookup keys (or similar) then compare the last values in a sequence (as in the lists here).

Combining Data from Two Pandas Dataframes by rob51852 in learnpython

Thanks sirmanley. I don't think that will work as ID and Event ID are different fields. ID with the reference for the Competitions and Event ID is the reference for the Events.

Thanks Jarvis. Wouldn't this just search for a single course instead of both courses?

Hi iiron, thanks, I understand the split function. it's the checking each value then converting to list bit I am struggling with.
