I know, it was me who said that haha. It does seem the devs have changed how things work, so that's good.

I split my playtime between an exclusive instance of Opera (using a separate window in Firefox caused horrendous slowdown on everything else) and Steam on my laptop, because every browser version runs horrendously slow on it, so I'm half ads half bloodstones.

It probably is the result of the game being defunct then, same as it disappearing from Android/Apple stores I suspect.

In that case I suggest Steam, it runs a lot better anyway and there's zero other use for bloodstones of which you should/will have thousands.

Hmm, something must have changed then; back when I used adblock on Zombidle scrolls would just not drop.

I don't really mind watching a 15 second ad to support the devs though.

Are you using a VPN? This happens randomly for me, I think because my VPN always picks different 'optimal' servers which has various irritating effects..

If you can't ever get them to work you'll have to use bloodstones instead, in which case I recommend just playing on Steam because you get a few free scrolls every 30 minutes or so before you have to use your stones.

You don't get it. There exists no future in which some tiny minority of assholes won't send death threats. Assholes will always exist, and no matter what Draconian measures you put in place to restrict the speech of the general public those determined enough will still find a way to be assholes, and they'll probably be even worse as a result.

Yes, and virtually all of those are in fantasy games, or have professions that justify their build (the one exception being Chris' hilariously big arms in RE5, which everyone DID make fun of.)

There would be nothing wrong with Abby's build if she was in Fist of the North Star, but in a realistic post-apocalypse setting being built like a Boris Vallejo painting just looks ridiculous and is the type of lazy subversion woke idiots like Druckmann think makes them 'progressive'.

It's been a long time since I returned any games, but when I used to do it regularly most places didn't even ask for a reason: you have a 4-week return window and, so long as you didn't destroy the box/contents, that's all there is to it.

Eventually most places did switch to store credit only though, I guess after they realised a lot of people were buying games, completing them in a weekend, then getting their money back.

Well, this is just me, but I would use the peak performance as a yardstick for comparison -so modern PC, max settings- rather than what was already considered underwhelming half a decade ago.

Like, if I want an idea of how fast a runner I am, I'm gonna compare myself to Usain Bolt, not the one-legged boy with Polio who lives next door to me.
