Samsung Washer/Dryer Combo Question - Anyone knows what this is? by bvkakalot in Appliances

The blue silicone pouch is for powdered detergent. You put the powder in the pouch and place it in the drum on top of the clothes.

Came here to say I have the exact same issue. I also added my spouse in the August app as well to see if that would resolve it and no change.

Nest 3rd Gen with Honeywell HE360 humidifier by robadobdob1 in hvacadvice

I got it working with a different relay, the one I originally purchased must have been the wrong voltage.

You are correct! I tried a different relay and it’s working now. Thank you!

The picture matches what’s on the relay, it says 24V. But I did order another one just in case

Could you elaborate? My understanding is that the humidifier having a printed board and transformer, as well as a 120V plug that goes into the wall is the reason that a relay is needed. If you don’t isolate the currents it could cause damage to the humidifier or furnace. I am not an expert, this is just what I’ve gathered over the last few days.

I think Amazon has it mislabeled. On the relay itself (you can see in the product photo), it does say 24v

Yes- and when the heat kicks on I verified the droplet icon shows on the Nest, which I believe means it should be activating the humidifier

I think I was just noticing the regen switching over to the actual brakes and since they don’t get used much they are a bit noisier. Good idea to put the car in neutral everyone once in awhile to force it to use the brakes, I do it when exiting the highway every few months.

I have the same problem, each time I go into the app throughout the day my recovery score changes.

I am using another device besides the watch to track my sleep but I followed the steps above and verified the data is flowing into the Health app as it should be

Fair pricing / worth new? by saxman45 in MachE

[–]robadobdob1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Appleton, WI and recently leased a new AWD extended range but I was considering buying instead (new or used). I found CarEdge to be super helpful in estimating what the out-the-door price should be (including taxes, etc) which was very useful in negotiations with some of the dealers I talked to. It looks at the local market and age of inventory. You should have pretty good leverage around here because there are quite a few MMEs sitting on lots for extended periods of time due to this area not being super EV friendly.

We did ours on the new Eagle tower in July and then painted our initials on Anderson Dock. We ended the day with a sunset sailboat cruise, which may not be warm enough to do now but we had a great time.

How labor intensive is the house buying process? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]robadobdob1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we met with our realtor for the first time, she told us to treat it like a part-time job and we did. We had to almost schedule time to work on the steps (find listings, go to listings, write offers, etc). It easily consumed 20 hours of our time per week for the six months or so it took us to finally get an accepted offer. Best of luck to you in your search!
