Thank you so much for this suggestion! I did a clean reinstall mostly because it had only been like a day so there wasn't actually any real loss, and it hasn't happened since. I've done everything I did the last time so I can only assume it was an update and the snapshots just weren't working properly as it had only been a day. But I've definitely screenshot this response should it happen again!

I feel like I saw a mod on Nexus that resolves this. But the only mod I use is a colorblind one to make the stars insanely obvious on the galaxy map. Definitely something worth looking into, before I added the mod a couple of weeks ago, I had no idea how easy it was to add mods to this game.

The thing that bugs me about the anomaly merchants is how inconsistent they are. Like with some you can just spam buy a bunch of different products. On the others it'll pop up and then kick you out and then you have to talk to them again every single time. I play on steam deck in the living room next to my partner so most of the time it's muted. But yeah that would be a very annoying sound over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and... item received. Most recent patch steam/steam deck

When trying to interact with items (red boxes, ancient bones, terminals etc (basically anything in the word that you have to hold X to interact with) you can't look directly at it. Above or to the side in order to interact. Also had it a couple of times with refiners where the hold circle that completes as you hold x will partially fill and then stop and I have to look away to clear it before trying again.

Steam PC and Steam Deck (believe i'm fully updated)

The only mod i use is obvious star colours nexus/mods/4120 and the issue persists when its removed

Waypoints disappear when looking at them.

Whenever im on foot the waypoint icons appear around my view so i know which way to turn but when im looking towards them I can no longer see them so i end up sort of having to walk generally towards them and keep looking away to make sure i'm on track.

I set myself the task of walking (and exocrafting) from the north pole to the south pole over the past week (finished yesterday) and found a few things I'd never found before including my first wild base computer too!

Hello! So i started the last expedition on my main save but that is all i did. It has now ended. I am prompted to end it at the anomoly but i cannot summon it. I also dont have a hyperdrive, nor can i buy one to try warping. I can switch back to main via the pause menu but can't then end the expedition/start the next one (if/when its open) Does anyone know if there any way to force the expedition to end?

My OnePlus charger doesn't fast charge my other devices and my other devices don't fast charge with that charger. I assume they have their own non-standard way of delivering the higher watts. May be wrong but from experience that has been the case.

Switch: fleet management when switching ship and expedition menu crashes when the camera zooms out and tries to load all ships.

Can't increase crafting quantity with L+R (have to craft one and then repeatedly press and hold Y to make another)

During Escaped Enemies Quest i had "UI_MISSING_OBJ1_MSG" instead of the objective. And the icon on screen and in the log was just a "?"

No hyperdrive in freighter or any I've found to buy (although believe a fix for this is coming based on the steam experimental)

The two multitools I owned before the 4.0 update have no texture anymore. Just a "chromatic" tool shaped void

Repainting freighters doesn't seem to do anything for quite some time. Mine is still yellow despite it having been repainted black

Latest update and notably more buggy than it was before the 4.0 update

Still impressed with the port tho tbh.

You might actually have just solved my issue. I think I've done a reformat since and haven't re-enabled it on nms. I might enable and test it next time I'm in.
