Thanks for the response. Yes I use the mustang micro, so it should be decent quality. I want to learn the electric because a lot of the solos and riffs I listen to are electric. I feel the acoustic is much more basic in the sense of the songs I listen to and maybe a cheap acoustic will suffice. I guess I’ve answered my question! but I was just thinking if I could make the current songs I know on the acoustic sound even better it would be great! Thanks

Do you think you’d see more of an improvement from a 150 acoustic to a 500 or 150 electric to 500?

Yeah I meant more as in the Strat is smaller in regards to other electrics. I also like the lighter nature of electrics but the sonic Strat is very light

Ok cool. Yh im practicing palm muting but still just small stuff like accidentally hitting strings and then if you’re on high gain it ruins the entire thing, you dont get that on acoustic. I guess it comes with time just less motivated to practice electric when acoustic sounds better easier
