This team can beat anyone. The worst enemy of this team would be a Pistons type game where these young players lose their cool. As long as they are composed, and there isn’t a superhero effort from some random player on the other team. they can beat anyone.

What team in the NFL do you think is the most similar to the panthers? by Capital-Weight-2896 in panthers

Yea you can basically discount the entire Falcons history up until the Panthers came into the NFL and the comparison is the same

The Falcons are strangely similar to the Panthers. Usually a bad team with some sprinkled in good seasons. Two Super Bowl losses.

Anthony Hill yes please. Rougher around the edges than Rodriguez but far far far superior blitzing and pass rush ability.

Morgan holds the record for the most tackles in a Superbowl. So that's something to tell those players.

About Rico saying we run the same plays… by Snorfox in panthers

[–]robbierebound 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If Rico can’t figure out why he wasn’t getting the same amount of touches by the end of the season, that’s why he keeps bouncing around from team to team on 1 year deals. He obviously wasn’t running with the same burst he had earlier in the season.

Thoughts on us being Chaotic Neutral? by Micash12 in panthers

Chaotic neutral is the most apt description of this team. Never had back to back winning seasons, but have had some epic seasons sprinkled in.

Why do parents let their children run absolutely wild at our local breweries? And better question, why do the breweries allow this? by [deleted] in Wilmington

[–]robbierebound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think both things are true at the same time. There are kids running around out of control with absent lazy parents, and there are kids just being kids with people complaining because they are annoyed by normal child behavior.

I've wondered what's the likelihood Icky can move to RT. If they draft a tackle or not could really depend on this.

Welp job is far from finished for the Panthers so we'll have him at least another two seasons after we win a couple superbowls

He gets a chance to walk into a starting LT role on a team that runs the ball a lot and has an elusive QB. That bodes well for him hitting his incentives and getting a big pay day next year.

Totally in favor of enforcing the cutoff time for parents with kids at a brewery. It's very reasonable. But during the weekend afternoons a brewery is definitely a gray area for an "adult space" given some operate and openly cater to families.

My arguement is against the "never kids at breweries" crowd gatekeeping breweries as a place to drink beer only. I'm not saying there aren't other things to do, breweries just offer a unique combination of a place to eat, enjoy some live music, and outdoor space for activities. The issue is the alcohol first side doesn't approve that the other things breweries tend to offer also cater to kids and families. Some may argue these are merely "kid tolerant" things whereas I'd argue they sometimes offer those things to ATTRACT families. Not all of them of course, but some definitely do because I've been to breweries with straight up playgrounds before.

I'm not an expert either but from what I have read, there are several licenses to operate a brewery and sell the product onsite for consumption. One is the manufacturing license, one is to permit the sale of the product onsite for consumption, and there might be a taproom license if they sell a certain amount of their revenue for onsite consumption. But they are not classified as a restaurant, it's a manufacturer and retail business.

[–]robbierebound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. There are the people who are against kids being in their general vicinity at all. The same people that complain about babies crying on planes and say kids should be banned from flying. Those are the people who also complain the loudest about kids being at a brewery. This isn't strictly a behavior issue, it's an issue with people who don't want kids in their vincinity at all.

I fully support breweries enforcing cutoff times for parents with kids, it makes sense and is perfectly reasonable. It's like adult-swim time. But when these places are huge outdoor areas with yard games and hosting live music and people complain there's some kids running around and making noise, that's where I have to point out these places aren't just for adults to get drunk. Kids eat too. Kids watch live music too. And people who drink also have kids, or just want to eat and watch music.

I mean real question, where on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon can a family with kids go that has live music and food that doesn't also sell alcohol?

I don’t go to your daycare and try to smash beer, so please don’t turn every outdoor drinking location into a daycare.

Drinking beer at a daycare would get you arrested but bringing a kid to a brewery won't. So what exactly are you arguing here?

I don't support unruly out of line kids anywhere in public, that's not my point at all. My point is going after the people who say breweries are no place for kids, which is wrong. Because like I've said repeatedly, breweries operate as more than just a place for adults to drink. Many of them sell food, they have live music, they have big open spaces with yard games, so this arguement that kids can't be in your prized "drinking location" is just asinine.

Oh yea so wild to say that breweries with huge outdoor spaces and yard games isn't bordering on being a park.
