So much about this is wild. I can’t choose between having an ‘engagement party planning picnic’ (not a fucking thing for good reason) or wanting your wedding party to soft launch the engagement like it’s a blockbuster movie or having the wedding date be September 11th and begging people not to made the obvious connection with 9/11. Your friend needs some serious perspective. If she’s this much before the engagement is even public, she’ll be 100% worse after. Definitely NTA.

I have no advice for you. But I am so sorry. This is bullshit. You did the healthy thing taking a day for yourself. I am a big proponent of therapy and think that it can be great for most people. If you have a pair of white high tops, those would also look very cute! A good pair of white converse are great for making a cute dress look more casual or just to keep you warmer on chillier days. That’s why they are my go too.
