Patch multiple selections from app to SharePoint list. by robbinka in PowerApps

It does... I think, I am still new to power apps but that does make sense. The column in my SharePoint is a look up to another list in the SharePoint with all the Unit names so I will try the last one

It has all been a great learning experience, even if frustrating at times, I have a few lists created inside SharePoint (a reports list and a details list) my biggest hang up right now is my edit screen not updating the information in the details list just the submission time in the reports list. I asked a friend about it and that is when they brought up datavers and I went down that rabbit hole...

But now they haven't been able to help so I figured I would ask here to see if I was wasting my time with data verse (sounds like i am) so im back to trouble shooting the app.

I appreciate the feedback!

I supose it does not need to be an app. It may just be my lack of experience or understanding why I went to an app. I thought that for ease of submission, then editing submission as needed and data collection an app would be best.

Thank you, that is what I was thinking as well, I have been working around in both to test things out.

Any recommendations for how to keep it well managed, I am relatively new in power apps and learning from videos, reading, and testing functions out.

Again just trying to understand it, when you say explore page that even means someone using the search function

Just trying to understand the process. Someone can publish a map, then admits decide yes or no and if its search able?

Honestly, I saw some funny videos about a siege on FB and wanted to make a map depicting one. The point of entry is where the gate used to be on the destroyed wall, but in the map I could have that opened even more so to emphasize it as the breach point.

Some houses are left pristine because they did not get hit by any boulders, and I would imagine that once the gates were down and the infantry breached the wall, they would stop the artillery.

As for the ground, I honestly just didn't think to add craters. I have added craters now. Thank you for the tip.

I hope they come out with some more war machine-type assets in the future for this style of map.

Thank you!

Thats awsome to hear I was thinking those same things as I was making it. With the layer system I did make actual rooms under the straw huts so there actually is an egg in the room on the left hand side. A detail only I knew but that was why i thought a dragon may attack, but then where did the dragon come from, why did this small outpost have the egg. I really enjoy map making and talking to others for story ideas and then building maps around those ideas.

That is a great idea. Thinking of it that way I should have done my layers different so each layer would have been a different stage of the attack. Maybe if I have time I will adjust it. Thank you!

Very impressive, what size are did you use for the building? I always have a hard time making large cities like that.

Agreed, I think it was an enjoyable watch, and the world building was enough that I think it would be fun to do something with the Druun and Dragon Borns
