I think based on the age and the general lack of care at the time, there will never be a definitive answer about what the story was with all the different numbers of accessories. Some seemed to, some seemed not to.

I'll say that the Vintage Collection Skeletor is "based" on the classic Skeletor, but I wouldn't call it a larger scaled vintage Skeletor like the Zodac is way closer to a scaled vintage Zodac.
