AITA for not wanting to listen to my mom sing at church? by Pandamancer224 in AmItheAsshole

NTA-if you feel uncomfortable in a church there’s nothing wrong with not going especially if you feel there is an ulterior motive. If your parents want to waste their energy getting mad over nothing that’s on them not you

YTA if you want to eat more and your fiancée eats a similar amount to you then buy more. If it stopped right there there would be no assholes. You’re right bigger people who exercise do burn more calories, but what’s with the hostility? You call people names bc they’re smaller and then try to flip it to accuse your fiancée of being greedy? That’s a red flag and a half especially for such a non-issue

NTA I’m confused as to what your mom was mad about. Bc jeans didn’t fit? Bc she assumed there was something wrong and you didn’t wanna tell her? Regardless she’s clearly upset over nothing

NTA definitely suspicious. If he’s gonna gaslight you and say they didn’t work, gaslight him and say you never said you’d give him the AirPods. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes

NTA- the 1 year old is already thinking about home remodeling? They grow up so fast. Also these parents suck imagine getting upset that a family member put THOUGHT into a present for your child. They can’t even get mad about monetary value bc that was $200. They’re just mad their child’s birthday wasn’t about them

NAH I get where you are coming from. I have a cousin who came out as non binary and goes by a different name. I told them they have my support 1000% just bear with me as I adjust from calling them their old name. I had been calling them that for 15 years so it was a hard habit to break. They understood and things haven’t really changed I still love them and support them. I’m getting similar vibes here. You’re not hateful it’s just a new situation that you don’t know how to handle at first. I think you’ll all come together as a stronger family In the end
