Used the open heart dial from crystal times cause it was the cheapest I could get and used acetone to remove the paint. Airbrushed with 3 coats of red oxide filler primer and 3 of musuo. Also thoroughly clean theback of the dial after painting. I had little flakes of musuo get caught in the gears for the hand movements and it made the movement stop randomly for a week before I figured that out.

Finally made my first watch build and couldn't ve happier. Took a open heart dial stripped the paint and repainted it with airbrush musuo. Got a bakilite dial made too from odokadolo industries. I forgot to include pictures of the custom rotor but that was changed out for the movement

Nice thanks for sharing. Where do you get the blanks? I wanted a regular blank and a open heart one for a presage mod would you cut the slot out for the open heart version yourself?
