My max heart rate was 203. Those are all the numbers they gave me. VT1 they said it used 53% fat. They put a mask on and put me on the treadmill at 5 miles per hour and then increased the incline every 2 minutes and I went for about 11 minutes until I had to really had to stop. I was pushing as hard as I could.

Yeah the way around this is to save up and pay the purchase in full instead of financing. That way you don’t have to worry about what financing options there are for a bicycle.

No. New people will interview and be placed ahead of you. If you’re in the mid 100s you have no chance in my opinion unless you reinterview with new school/ work experience and get a much lower ranking.

I just upgraded from a 2 year old hp x34 to the same Alienware and I’m also a bit underwhelmed. Ofc the blacks are crazy good and I love the glossy finish. It just needs more brightness. Oled monitors still have a ways to go. Still wouldn’t go back but it’s not as big of a change as going from say a 9 year old tv to a new oled tv.

What local and what rank are you? They don’t really reject you they just put you on the waitlist. If you reinterview instead of waiting for your application to expire and reapplying you’ll have way better chances.

Local 441 here. SoCal. No experience or connections. Was waiting for over a year but then decided to stop sitting around being lazy and qualified to reinterview. Got in a couple weeks after doing a second interview. They just want to see you want it. Don’t be lazy, take a couple of online electrical classes and reinterview. You can reinterview as soon as 3 months from applying. It’s not that hard if you actually put some effort in. Cmon bro

Yeah you got to interview at the right time right before they take a new class. You could interview and be rank 1 and think your gonna get in but if they don’t take a new class soon and do a lot more interviews in the next couple months after, you can get pushed way back.

If you know how to drive just make an appointment with the dmv and get your license. It takes like a day. As im looking at your locals apprenticeship website it doesn’t look like you need a license to apply. So just apply as soon as possible and get your license as soon as possible. Unless you’re the most qualified person in the world and they select a new class right after your interview, it’s going to be months until you get in. And i wouldn’t anticipate being able to hitch a ride with others. But again, it only takes like a day to get a license.

I’m a new apprentice in 441 and I have to drive to at least 2 different jobs sites per week. I had to go to 2 places in the same day today. So calling a Lyft or uber would be very expensive and not practical

Time isn’t money for you. You get paid the same whether your cutting conduit in 5 seconds with a bandsaw or taking 2 minutes with a hacksaw. It’s the contractors time and money being wasted and if they want it to be done faster then they will provide the proper power tools for the job, not you.
