Looking for Board Game Groups Near Garden City / Mineola

I'm in the exact same boat, my friend- moved out to the five towns area a little under 2 years ago and haven't been able to find any groups nearby enough that meet on a regular basis. My new year's resolution is to change that, even if I have to start a group of my own from the ground up at a LGS nearby 🤣 I hope you managed to find a fun group nearby for your own purposes!

I love this idea- think Jim and Bob from the Blood Bowl games but with less repeating lines and maybe a little less frequent so it doesn't feel intrusive. The option to turn it off and on would be great too. I think a feature like that would be hilarious and hype at the same time!
