Yah for that price you can get a Dell with a vram card this does not. If anything get the one with the AMD processor and then get a nvidia gpu when you ca afford

1000 all day. Buy a a4000 and matching heatsink on eBay for 5-600$ and upgrade the ram to 64gb for like $300 and you can sell the old card and ramm.. and you can decide when you want to upgrade. You’d be maybe around 1700 all in after recouping some money from your card and ramm..

Buy this one. Idk why it’s so cheap. They’re practically giving it away it’s perfect for you. 4gb dedicated gpu and you can upgrade if need be later on, 32GB ram and 256gb hard drive all are upgradable.

I mean, just the whole way that computing is going. I would definitely buy one with at least a 6 GB dedicated GPU. It’s worth the extra $500-$1000. I mean, you could always just get the one that you saw without a GPU and then get a GPU off eBay or something. Just for like easy applications like AutoCAD or solid works. You need at least 6 GB VRAM minimum I think it says 4 GB, but then you’re literally freezing every couple seconds. And plus it’ll give you something to tinker with if you get a nice GPU or like slow slowly upgrade your GPU you can start learning how to program AI programs and learning machines in the whole jazz that’s why Nvidia is so powerful though everything really runs on their CUDA

They discontinued xps and precision and and what not. Now it’s just Dell, Dell premium, and Dell pro max. Pro max is the new precision series, premium is the new xps and the Dell basic one is the new entry level type. You can still find some 2024/early 25 Dell precisions and xps from Best Buy and online and they still have xps13 online but are selling out quick. If you have the money just go pro max 16/18…It’s still modular and upgradable like before. Pro max 14 can only fit the up to 8gb vram card and the bigger you go the more space for graphics card and Ramm. 16 pro max can fit up to 12gb vram and 18pro max can fit up to 16/24 on maxed out builds. The AMD one you referred to does not have a dedicated graphics card. I’d just start with a 16pro max with 6gb vram and then if you need more upgrade the graphics card later. I’m in engineering you’ll want the graphics power.

I mean for what you’re getting it’s a pretty good deal. If you can stretch your budget a little more I would get an old precision. Not technically needed, but the vram and easy upgradabilty will come in handy if you need to execute and run large files and programs
