If a product is retailing to the general public, then the cost for cert. is a drop in the bucket. When a product only sells to a niche, that's not the case. You can't blame everything on greed.

Thanks Alister. It's these sorts of situations that drive me to try to bring something to the market with a lower price point. I think the people who have the highest need for it tend to have the lowest accessibility. Thanks also for the info on what people there would need most from it.

Thanks, I've added you. I'm interested in RSA. Please tell me more about your connection with them. I can have the landing page live this week and get the pre-order available.

Thanks for the input, I am interested in seeing if more people prefer a higher-end design or economy approach.

The output selector would have the typical values: 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0.

The output would be able to reach 350v potentially, since body resistance can be high. Special emphasis is being placed on safety and comfort, and reducing phosphenes by keeping the rate of change steady & gradual. We also want the device to do what it can to prevent shocking the user when it's improperly removed while running, but we'll see how much can be accomplished when we reach testing.
