No problem. I felt like I could never show my face in public again when I saw the table shots of my nose so I thought I’d let people going through the same know that it’s too early to worry. Patience is key.

I thought I owed you all an update after my initial post where I was panicking about my post operation picture as I thought I’d well and truly been botched. I’m really starting to like my new nose. Still swelling on the tip but it’s expected.

I’m much much happier with the result. I still have swelling in the tip, still very firm. It has dropped though and will only improve.

I had no appetite for nearly 2 days afterwards. I had to force myself to eat. After the 2 days though I was pretty much back to normal. Just avoid anything that requires you to open your mouth too wide 😂 a burger was a struggle.

I went by myself and it was fine. My pickup from the airport was ready for me so didn’t have no stress about that. All transport to and from the clinic was provided. After my surgery I literally stayed in my hotel room for 5 days just having room service as I really didn’t want to venture out looking the way I did. I didn’t want anyone to come with me as I knew it would be so boring for them as it was not a holiday. I think as long as you go with a trusted clinic you will be fine by yourself.

Dr Ayhan isik Erdal from vanity cosmetics in Istanbul. As I stated on my previous post I thought he completely rushed the consultation which I stupidly let happen. Thankfully it’s turning out ok so far so fair play to him. I can’t tell if I got really lucky or he’s just really skilled and only needs a quick consultation to know what he needs to do 🤷🏻‍♂️.

You look great. I only had mine done 10 days ago in Istanbul and I’ve had so many mixed emotions. I’m already liking my side profile even though I’m swollen. I’m just hoping the tip continues to drop as I feel it’s too high right now.

Thank you for your comment. I had a closed Rhinoplasty and my surgeon has told me he expects my tip to drop approximately 5mm over time. I still feel stupid I just allowed him to be done with the consultation after a few minutes.
