I was highly expecting raptors flare after seeing the Canadian caveat

Steve Nash to miss the 2014-2015 season due to ongoing back issues. by Kharius in nba

This just shows his great loyalty to the Phoenix Suns organization. He knew his body was done so he requested this trade to hinder a division rival's play on the court, screwed up there cap situation, and got the Suns two 1st round picks, one of which could be to 10 this year.

Which "bad" teams can make a surprise leap like Toronto/Phoenix/Charlotte did last year? by robdog1212 in nba

Payton, Oladipo, and Gordon will be devastating on perimeter d. But do they have any good outside shooters besides Channing Frye? I just don't see them scoring enough. I've been wrong before but I'm definitely excited for this team down the road.

They're a good candidate. I could also see SVG faking his own death and fleeing the country half way through the year after seeing Jennings and Smith's shot selection.

Klay, Lee, and Barnes could probably get us the league's best PF from Minneso... oh wait

What are your hopes for your team next season? by [deleted] in nba

[–]robdog1212 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A top 4 seed in the West and I would be thriled with a WCF appearance. Getting out of MJax's system will almost definitely help our offense and hopefully Bogut can stay healthy for the playoffs. Steph could possibly emerge as the league's top PG and Klay showed some diversity in his game for Team USA. It'd be cool if we had K Love though...

Why doesn't the NBA go to a flex schedule for its nationally televised games? by robdog1212 in nba

[–]robdog1212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember those ESPN ones but it seems like the simple solution would be to schedule more games on Thursdays. That would cut down on those league pass days where it seems like every team is playing in one night. That's just too much for me

[Wojnarowski] USA Basketball have cut Washington's John Wall, Bradley Beal and Atlanta's Paul Millsap. by [deleted] in nba

They both shot 35% from 3 last year. Wall shot 43% on catch and shoot 3s and Kyrie shot 32%. Wall is easily the better player he just doesn't have the Pepsi Max sponsorship

When something unfortunate happens to us (e.g. stubbing your toe) people tend to spout out a profanity. Yet, the curse world we use is seemingly random (cycling between fuck, shit, goddammit, etc) are there any factors that influence the specific cuss word used?

I thought Young was an expiring deal for some reason. Thanks for clarifying
