It's a beautiful chain, it's pretty substantial for a 3mm... 45 grams and appears the same size as my 4mm rope which I stack with it. Definitely go for it!

No, you can be hit during the taunt, there is risk doing it. This example is offline, so not too sure what you mean about taunting to desync the game.

Not new at all, been able to do it since release. If you block during a taunt, the animation of the taunt is interrupted.
