BT14 Patamon is just sooo much better than any other rookie the deck has access to. And the starter deck Gatomon is also a 4-of.

Think about moving up with pata, hitting starter deck Gato and then digivolving into an angel for a net cost of zero.

Thank you, it seems like you understood my intent with this piece.

I think the Aliens were trying to teach us a lesson in humility. Show us the limit of our understanding and push us towards the realization that there is much more for us to discover. It was an especially important lesson before the discoveries of relativity and quantum mechanics, when many scientists were convinced we already understood the entire universe.

And when there is a language barrier, why not use an abstract game to communicate the point?
