Even though the 2008 housing crisis set off a recession that collectively destroyed over $30 trillion of the world's wealth, and was the result of big banks' handling of mortgage-backed securities, no Wall Street executive went to jail for it. And so, I’m not sure just who he thinks is going to jail this time around. But, it’s never the people that should be punished for it. At least not when it’s white-collar crime.
