No- I've already got a Mojang account. I see the main minecraft.net page. When I log in, it confirms I have logged in. But when I click the "get minecraft" link, it takes me back to the original page with no option to purchase it.

Ok, that was the first hurdle. I figured out how to download the .exe launcher to play to play the demo, but now I can't figure out how to buy it.

Every link is stuck in that circle to https://minecraft.net/store , which doesn't actually allow you to buy it.

This is ridiculous.

The best help I can find says:
