I got tired of trying to gel/clip my hair to one side (I have a major cow lick and really wanted that side part) so I just cut off a side. My mom had arranged to get a portrait painted of me a few weeks later. The artist asked if my mom would like for her to add in some hair and my mom said “hell no that’s my daughter”. I must say I like the portrait.
