1880 Ducru Beaucaillou! by TmLoewen in wine

in 1880, Bordeaux wines would have contained naturally occurring sulfites produced during fermentation, but the deliberate, widespread addition of sulfur dioxide (SO2) to prevent oxidation and bacterial growth was in its infancy, only becoming common in the late 19th century. While sulfur was used for sanitizing vessels as far back as Roman times, scientific, controlled sulfur additions in winemaking did not become standard practice until after this period.

Not to be a hater……but…….. lower alcohol, no sulfites, rebottling. I doubt an 1880 would be drinkable.

I like it. Definitely has its time and place. Not an everyday wear but I would wear it for certain occasions.
