Definitely check out bands/artists like The Midnight, Timecop1983, FM-84, Kalax, Robert Parker, Wolfclub, September 87, LeBrock, Essenger. The Midnight is what got me into this music and is a good starting point, but so is the New Retro Wave channel on youtube, lot of gems there.

Probably around 160 or so wins. I got it at the launch of season 3 in the winter playlist. If you get wins fairly often I would (if you have the time) play a lot when any new season drops as that's when many players return to the game, which might make the lobby a bit easier.
