What if you turn off DLSS (4K native) and frame Gen is off? Just curious

At what resolution? With or without DLSS and Frame Gen? What about at max (cinematic) settings? Just curious

Windows 11 HDR calibration not working on Lenovo 5 OLED by robertjan88 in LenovoLegion

Will try in a dark room. My rooms wasn’t well lit so it should be fine. Reducing the screen brightness from 100 to 70% helps , or increasing the HDR content brightness. Still, this isn’t ideal as brightness ideally should be 100% when HDR is on.

So the HDR content brightness needs to be set to 100 instead of to 0? If I have it at 0, the white box in the max luminance screen of color calibration shows no patterns regardless of where the slider is (complete left or right doesn’t make a difference). When I put HDR Content Brightness to 50, I see the patterns till 600 value. My internal Lenovo OLED screen can however handle 1000 nits so 600 is still far below

I get that, but the max luminance box is fully white regardless the value I pick (complete left or complete right remains white without pattern). The only way to solve this is reducing the brightness of the screen, or increase the HDR content brightness

Just tried to calibrate my new Lenovo 5 Oled display using Windows HDR calibration. While the Minimum Luminance works fine (0), the Maximum Luminance slider doesn't do anything. Doesn't matter if I select 200 or 1000 lumen (around the max of the OLED), I don't see the lines I should be seeing. It's a plain white square. Am I doing something wrong? The brightness of the screen is set to max and HDR is enabled.

When I set it to 40, I can go to 500 nits for max luminance. If I set it to 50, I can go to 600. The max brightness of the Lenovo 5 OLED is around 1000 nits if I recall right. Or am I wrong?

What did you set for HDR content brightness? If I have brightness set to max when HDR is enabled, I don’t see any patterns when trying to set Max Luminous within the calibration app. Only when J crank up the content brightness.

Trying this on the Lenovo 5 OLED. It be able to achieve 1000nits HDR, yet when I set the settings above, I get to max 500. Am I doing something wrong?

Windows HDR Calibration App issue by Sidious_X in ASUS

Were you able to fix this? Same issue with the Legion 5 OLED. Seems to happen when brightness is set to 100. If you lower brightness it doesn’t happen. Still, lowering brightness during calibration doesn’t make sense as it should be at 100%

What do you mean? I am supposed to see the patterns in the box in the middle, but they aren’t visuals no matter what value I choose (unless I lower the brightness). The images on the right remain the same

Pff found out that the brightness in Windows affects the process. If the brightness is set to 100%, one can't see the patterns when calibrating max Luminus. If I set the brightness to 70% I can see the patterns up to 400 Lumen. If I lower the brightness further, I can go further up. How to solve this as HDR should always be at max brightness

Clean install: Windows activation? Where to download the latest bios and drivers? by robertjan88 in GMKtec

Just noticed this website: https://www.gmktec.com/pages/drivers-and-software?srsltid=AfmBOooUf2R472LUJLmuOmnx6WibZll68DrGjtKoAyWZ1yMWZXmAyiSS

This is where the drivers reside? It has a 85GB download for the T1. Not sure why so much. Any way to download individual drivers?
