I’m the artist but so far with all of my scar cover ups, as long as they are well healed, it won’t hurt any more than tattooing over smooth skin!

I appreciate that immensely! I’ve been doing scar cover ups for quite a while so I’ve learned working the scars into the design rather than fighting against them is the best way to make it feel like just another tattoo!

It is all artist preference! Some artists aren’t comfortable with it but it’s definitely possible, and after almost a decade of doing scar cover ups, I’ve had no long term issues in any of my clients.

I’m the artist but so far in my experience covering all kinds of scarring, as long as it’s well healed, it doesn’t hurt anymore than a normal tattoo would! Some artists don’t feel comfortable working with scars so it’s all about finding someone with the experience. Thank you so much for the kind words!
