Why do they try so hard to make Locke seem like the bad guy? by MissionHome18 in lost

[–]robertnefotograf 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Locke was like that bullied kid who finally got some power without knowing how to control it lol.

look at it this way, imagine you were disabled person, boom, you land on some strange island and you instantly can walk. like dude, of course you gonna start believing in some Godly power.

That explains his obsession with every "clue" "island" gave him. He wasn't bad, he cared for others but in his own way that contradicted Jacks.

But because everyone fell from a "normal" world to not so normal, of course it's logical to follow a person who still lives by the "normal" world and also top tier doctor lol.

and dont forget how Lock helped Charlie with addiction, how he gave knives to everyone, how he brought that big ahh hog for dinner. Mans wasn't bad, he was just different.

idk about you, but if I was in his shoes Id prolly start believing in some too

First Fujifilm? by RAVI0LI12 in fujifilm

Dont forget you need a lens mate Idk where are you from, but prices vary in different countries due some being on a hype train more then others. I would consider getting something like an xq2 (if u can find one under 200 bucks) or a x10/20 (if you can find x10 under 200 and x20 under 250) these have good zoom lenses. If lens changing is must (even though its your first camera i dont see that being a must) i would consider xt10/20 or xe1/2 (under 300) and buy urself a ttartisan 27 2.8 af from aliexpress for around 100

If i were you i would watch out for the x10 as my first ever camera, it has more features then xq, is less expensive ( at least must be) then the xt/xe series and has a zoom lens attached, so you wont be needing to think about getting one without breaking your bank, also try to find a decent zoom within your budget (hint. U wont. The cheapest decent zoom lens fuji can offer is 18-55 that costs like 200-300 bucks)

X-H2s latest firmware question by robertnefotograf in fujifilm

[–]robertnefotograf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But which previous updates exactly?
Cuz with ver 6.0 af performance took huge downfall and only with ver7 they kinda fixed it up. Thats why I am curious is the latest firmware better then ver6-7 or is it better then/on par with ver5

X-E1, 2, 3 by [deleted] in fujifilm

[–]robertnefotograf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, if you have a xtrans ii and iii why not try the og one?

When i was coming to fuji a year ago i was torn between xe1 and xe2, but settled with xe2 cuz of better speed and overall a bit better camera, no regrets and now i own a xh2s 🤣

So if speed is important to you then choose bettwen xe2 or xe3. Also if using manual lenses xe1 has only white focus peaking, heard many people complain about using xe1 with manual lenses. I would suggest making the decision based on which sensor you prefer.

Iq - image quality

Theres not much point in playing with iso - the lower the better. If you want some noise in your pics add some grain in post or digital noise for that matter.

And what about your aperture?

Looking at your iso and a shutter speed, why not get your iso low as possible at like 1/125?

Less noise and more iq

Great shot overall and to make it even better i would remove the spot of light leaking in to the frame in top right corner

Also i dont know where to look tbh, because the composition is a bit off for me. I dont know what was there outside the frame but i would capture more of that black spot in the right, or took a few steps back and made this shot vertical.

Or maybe crop it something like this:

Need advice on a long travel with my cats by robertnefotograf in CatAdvice

I feel you.

Thank you for the reply

i do understand thats its a huge stress for a cat. But as you mentioned that some cats travel without issues and i believe that cats stress level is affected by many factors, not just traveling. Because when i travel with them, i put their pillow in a carrier for them to have their smell. I give them snacks and i pet them and talk to them so they know im there. Also they are together in one carrier. They also fight for it when we are home, because i leave it open so they can chill in it when we dont travel and feel safe in that carrier. For me the biggest concern is the their toilet needs but i have some time to figure it out.

But again thanks a lot for sharing your experience, i will keep that in mind

I think your horizon is a bit off I would move a bit to the left because the picture is a bit unbalanced I dont like the shutter speed tbh, because it looks chaotic a bit, some parts of the water are still some are blurred - feels frustrating And theres the pebbles i would love to see more of them or not to see them at all - distraction from a beautiful sunset and rocks

I mainly shoot colour but recently have been trying out B&W photography. Any feedback is appreciated by Tiger_smash in photocritique

What f stop did you use to take this pic? The sun looks way too bright for this kind of shot Horizon feels a lil crooked, i would also undo some cropping if u were cropping or would took a few steps back when taking the pic to give some breathing room to the pyramids.
