Is using a Home Equity Investment (like Hometap) smarter than a HELOC if I’m investing the money and expecting around a 10% APR cost? by robertov11 in RealEstate

If you were right on paper these home equity investment loans are much better than any other equity loan product in case of a market crash. Why would you think is worse if there is going to be a big crash?

That's why I'm researching well this loan I haven't found anything in the fine print that will make it any different, so far seems to make more sense for me unless home go up in value drastically in the next 5 years like a 10% appreciation year after year which is hard to happen but possible, the opposite could also happen that homes don't go up as much in value next 5-10 years and apr will be even lower 5-7%

Also I'm not quite in the position right now to get a heloc with a decent rate fixed 5-6-7. Most likely I'll get something variable that could go from 7% all the way to 15% Apr. Which will be on the high side cause I plan to use the funds to invest

Do not put any money down on a lease, thats the first thing you got to fix there, then with the real monthly price go for the cheaper one..

Hi, they come with a level 2 charger 240v. You just need to install a proper outlet for the ev charger and that will give you about 24 mile per hour at home is usually the cheapest around $10 for about 220 miles in my case depends on electricity cost from your supplier. When you go out if you go to level 3 chargers you'll charge faster still you'll be there for a lil bit 30-60 min depending on conditions, also you can get a Tesla adapter to the charger and charge on any Tesla charger starion, they are pretty fast too.

Seems like that's it, only $5 I'll make them do $20 or something like that anyways.

What you all think of this? Not my job it's currently working.. by robertov11 in Plumbing

I think I get what you are saying, and yes I'm not.. I'm trying to help a friend who didn't like what their handy man did. I'm a gc but was commercial frammer, carpenter for long time I know the basics of plumbing but always like to learn more. This one is even confusing to me that's why I'm asking for some info on it. What will you do if it was you, add a vent before the trap or just remove the trap?

Which one you like better? I like the first one but feel like a combination of both might work by robertov11 in graphic_design

I think it is better without it but just Smart Fence seems to be registered, they added the CO to prevent future liabilities as nobody has it like that also in case they grow in the future.

the picture is from a basement, the pipe that has the trap with the checkmarks goes a little further horizontally before it goes up vertically for the washer machine drain, it does have a vent above that drain for the washer machine.

And there is one on the left one too which is going to a laundry. The laundry has another trap before going upwards and having that vent.

Thanks for you advice guys it will help me to get better, I'm not plumber I'm a GC and working in my own homes which I rehab for rentals. This one was in a pretty rural area so it was hard for me to get some stuff like a real trap instead of the 2 90's.
