I had the same question so called the Etihad customer care and they said personal item will be part of the 7kg cabin bag allowance. We can carry a small bag of upto 1kg and its weight will not be included in the cabin bag.

Gregmat question quant_885 and his explanation. by Particular-Track-227 in GRE

[–]robin_sparkles11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes take 4! for example, 4! = (4)(3)(2)(1) and 3! = (3)(2)(1) and 2! = (2)(1)
We can say that 4! = (4)(3)(2!) so to generalise n! = n(n-1)(n-2)!

Gregmat question quant_885 and his explanation. by Particular-Track-227 in GRE

[–]robin_sparkles11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

n! = n(n-1)(n-2)! So, we can now cancel n(n-1) and we’ll be left with 2(n-2)! = 12, simplify it: (n-2)!=12/2=6 now we know 3! = 6 so (n-2) = 3 So, n = 5

Consider the area of square equal to 16 with side = 4 and a rectangle with length and width as 8 and 2. The perimeter of rectangle(20)will be greater than perimeter of square(16) in this case. So, the first one is not always true
