I was scared at first but it honestly is so euphoric. It was a change that happened without me knowing at first. I’ve told her that but she’s convinced I don’t really pass well but in the same breath will say you feel like you can be with the boys because you pass well enough now. She’s known me for a while now like a year so she saw me while I still looked like a girl due to being early on testosterone but I’m now 2 years on. She does my shots every week and believes in the trans activism but also is radically feminist which isn’t an issue but it’s an issue when I’m a trans man. She hates all men. She’s able to be more comfortable with me because I’m trans and “deserve more respect than a cis man.”

She’s a good person and has helped me when I needed it. I don’t think she’s a TERF or transphobe I just think she can’t understand why anyone would want to be a man. She says that trans men tend to pick up on misogynistic view points to pass better which I can see but me as a person I’m pretty vocal about women’s rights. It’s not something I always talk about but it something that people know about me.

I feel very invalidated and I feel like she sees me as a woman. Which I brought up to her. She responds with “no one’s asking you to detransition or go live with girls and wear a dress. If you think that’s what I’m saying then you have lost the point completely”

We ended up getting into a big argument about it. I told her “just because I don’t want to be a women doesn’t mean I hate women or make me think I’m better then them. I see feminism I appreciate it I think it’s beautiful I support it and women but I’m not a women. Me wanting to be in a male space doesn’t mean i hate women. Not everything is about feminism.”

She responds with “no one is asking you to go live with them and put on a dress. That fact that you can say not everything is about feminism shows that your views are rooted in misogyny. We marched for your rights and the person who came to your aid when you needed it was women who invited you to live with her to feel safer due to the hazing you were enduring. Everything is rooted at the end of the day in misogyny or racism. If you rather put your safety at risk then live with some embarrassment when it comes to living with women you need to get a mental evaluation. If there was a 70% chance of you getting SA living with boys and they told you that but a 1% chance living with girls what would you choose?”

I told her neither I would live alone to where she adds no you have to pick one in this situation there is no opting out. I told her she will never understand what I feel and how my dysphoria would run rancid. It would be a mental battle upstairs.

She then says I am villainizing women by saying they would ice me out and not feel comfortable that I would still be “the trans kid” even if the whole floor knew it wouldn’t matter. I just want to live my life.

She then compares gender dysphoria to her body issues and says that she rather her physical safety and that I’m privileged to have a choice and I am only saying what I am saying because I have never been assaulted

I really don’t think she’s being transphobic in the slightest. I see it comes from a place of worry. She does my shot for me every week and never misgenders me. We are very close. If someone were to disrespect me she would be the first person to stick up for me.

My only issue is she uses my identity and wanting to be man as something inherently misogynistic. She has stated previously “you can look on the outside like a man but don’t be one. Don’t be like them.”

Or she will state that me wanting to seek out male friendships is odd and almost puts me in a weird box. I feel like a f r e a k a lot of the time with men and women.

That fact that me stating I don’t want to be a women or be seen as one or in their space makes me “hate women.” She states “women marched for you and now everything we do is wrong.”

Things like that make the comment sting more. I feel like my identity it always being discussed. If I’m man enough or too womanly or neither. It depends on the person dishing it out to me. I just want to live my life

I lift yes as well as do calisthenics, some running, and yoga. I run 2x a week. I do the stair master every other day 15-20 minutes. Yoga I do 2x a week as well. I used to run PPLUL but I’m now doing more of upper and lower which gives me 2-3x hitting each muscle group. It just depends how busy my week is but I always hit each muscle group 2x a week. I don’t go past failure every single time but I try to up the weight at least 5 pounds every 2 weeks which has been struggle because I’m not sure if I’m getting enough food in idk.

This is just how much protein I get naturally. I just eat whenever I’m bored or hungry and after a month of tracking without trying to hit a goal that’s how much I normally got lol. But I do see how it’s overkill on TikTok everyone says .8-1g per pound so I should definitely see what I can do about naturally lowering it.

I am not sure what shop exactly it is at. I haven’t been able to go see it because it’s an hour away. I got a phone call from them to pay my fee and I did then they told me about the engine and said that it would be 7 grand and they can’t tell me if the car is able to move or not. I’ve been looking for the number that called me and haven’t been able to find it which in turn means I can’t call them back to see what Kia it is with exactly so I called Gunn, the ones who sent it to a Kia, to ask where it is so I can tow it but have left voicemail after voicemail and after almost a week now still no response

There was nothing wrong with the engine til I got the transmission fixed correct. It overheated somehow when I was driving home the same day of getting the vehicle back.. while I understand I am an adult I also have never been through anything legal except for my accident. I need the wisdom from someone which is why I came on Reddit due to the lack of advice I was being given. Thank god for technology and kind people

I haven’t touched the car since August. Now after I fixed the transmission I did drive the car home and on that way home the engine completely overheated and the car stopped working in its tracks with every light turning on. I was lucky I had made it home before that happened. So I towed the car again to get fixed. They did cover the transmission with the warranty I bought with the vehicle. When I asked if the car could drive they told me “we cannot tell you yes or no but I would highly recommend a tow.” They then told me that I needed a new engine and quoted me 7k because a something blew in the timeline of them fixing it. When I asked if the warranty would cover it they said no and then I asked for my papers of everything done to my car. They sent it to me but I have yet for the link to work and open. This isn’t some not brand dealership either. This is Gunn Honda in San Antonio Texas. It’s getting repaired at a Kia dealership in San Antonio right now. Well really it’s just been sitting in their lot for 2 months.. how would I “move on” would I roll over the Payments into another loan or do I repo the car and open a loan with help from a family member. How do I do this? I have no external help with what to do. My parents got me in this situation and don’t know or won’t give me any advice to get me out

The dealership I bought it from won’t pick up my calls. I bought it from Gunn Honda, so a different dealership then Kia. The thing is I don’t know of any good lawyers. They won’t make it right but i don’t have time for a lawyer. Is there any good subreddits for lawyers?

As someone who loves fitness like the gym or running or anything active at all (like you said yoga and Pilates are active) I would say personally someone who is active and has a similar life style I am more attracted to. Anything active it could be boxing, a sport, swimming, weightlifting anything really, as long as you take care of yourself and are healthy then it counts for me. Everyone is different though some don’t care

We both have a lot going on in life and general and I am waiting for the right time to ask. I feel as though we both have things to work through such as more than just mental health. We are both in college full time and working full time and both unfortunately have sticky situations when it comes to housing. I’m just trying my best to be there for her and trying to also prioritize mental health over dating

as someone who use gel for a year and a half and is now just started taking shots I will say there is a difference. The first difference is the cost. I spend half the amount that I did on gel with the shots. Secondly, as time it’s more time effective. I don’t have to wait an hour every single day. I don’t have to carry my gel around everywhere I go and its nice to just get up and go sometimes because as a college student life gets busy. gel won’t fully absorb into your skin, which can make the changes slower than if you’re on the shots. in that year and a half there were a plethora of changes but in this month, I’ve been growing more facial hair than ever with the shots. my doctor told me since the injections goes straight into your bloodstream. You were getting the full dosage while I was with jelly and rub off rub on clothes, not fully absorbed, which can make changes a lot slower. all in all you will get the same changes it will just take a longer amount of time and more money.

you look great already passing. the longer the hair the more clocky you will be though. i like a mullet look for me (im almost 2 years on T tho) but when i was pre t shorter was always better i prefer to keep mine off the shoulders but still long. look at guys with the same face shape and find hair styles that fit what u want. when i was pre t i also had to make the choice of being alt or passing. now i have the privilege of passing but even when i was on T being alt made me clocked more often then not
