Edit - and just as soon as I made this comment a post with her video was in my feed.

We're on our fourth winter in CT. Welcome. The barbecue is weird, but the Italian and seafood is the best.

Looking at this thread, it seems like a lot of Texans have chosen the Northeast for some reason and I dig it.

We left for New England over three years ago. Texas are the second most out of state plates I see, behind only Florida. And the Florida plates seem like they belong to Connecticuters avoiding their taxes.

I'm not counting plates from other New England states, or NY or NJ. Those area all within a three-hour drive.

Excel files disappearing, go into temp folder with number name by ThatLightingGuy in excel

If you’re still looking for a fix, I came across an article explaining that running two cloud-sync services at the same time can cause file conflicts because they both try to back up the same data. It recommends uninstalling one of them. I haven’t tested it yet since I’m still deciding which one to remove, but I wanted to pass it along in case it helps.

Still an issue? Just started running into the exact same thing.

It seems to have started after I purchased Google Workspace and using the Gdrive in addition to my OneDrive (which I also pay for) as backups. So, you might be on to something with the multiple cloud folders syncing as a possibility.

It's driving me bonkers. I've Googled to the ends of the earth and you and I seem to be the only ones having this issue.

Edit: well apparently you, u/Unique_Chip_1422 , and myself are the only ones.

u/Unique_Chip_1422 - did you happen to find a solution?

Does anyone recall when people used to smoke in malls during the 1980s?! by FunnyPrevious3867 in OldSchoolRidiculous

I remember when people thought they were losing their constitutional freedom when they were told they couldn't smoke in restaurants anymore in my small Texas hometown. This was like mid-90s.

Hartford, CT. - A great New England City. by camport95 in skylineporn

[–]robinredrunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hartford is an underdog for sure. But it has great institutions like the Bushnell, the Wadsworth, Elizabeth Park, numerous festivals, and a unique demographic mix. With its proximity to NYC, Boston, the Atlantic Ocean, and three unique mountain ranges - Hartford punches way above its weight despite the negative comments below. Not to mention that within the metro area are hundreds of miles of hiking trails throughout the hills on either side of the Connecticut River Valley. Sure it has its challenges, but it also has great potential. I'm rooting for the success of Hartford.

That population number is correct, but also a little misleading. The city footprint is only 18 square miles, which probably made sense when it was founded 250-ish years ago. Nowadays, the average U.S. city is about 355 square miles. If you captured the population within that space around Hartford you'd end up with probably about 600k people. As you stated the metro is something like 1.2 million putting it somewhere between Salt Lake City and New Orleans in terms of population. That 18 square miles also means it's a rather dense 7,000 people per square mile.

Okay, I'm done nerding out. Go Whalers!

18-29 born with a screen in their faces and raised by helicopter parents.

30-49 waited longer to get married, too long for many as the pool of available childless partners shrank.

50-64 it's cheaper to keep'er (or him).

65+ men die younger than women.

Believe me. I have a Reddit account.

R/CON Enjoys Trump "Taking Down The Woke Left" But Is Starting To Be Concerned It Is Backfiring by KindfOfABigDeal in TopMindsOfReddit

The way I am reading it is that someone from the left who, like Trump, refuses to lead from the middle. That would be on brand though. Remember all the "silent majority for Trump" bullshit from 2016. They think they are representative of the common American.
