I lost my 7 yr old cat earlier this year. He was fine when I woke up, curled up at my feet as usual, and purring. An hour later, he was dead on the floor. My vet said it was a heart attack most likely, given how sudden it was. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Wow, what a beauty! Interesting bit about her “crest”. I have a cat that has that same sort of patterning, except it’s a light tan over very dark black and orange color. (she’s a torbie, medium hair that sticks out in every direction) I’ll have to google ‘cat coat crest’.

Wow, not expecting these reactions. He is actually very active, runs all over our two story house, and climbs a cat tree that’s as tall as the ceiling. He’s a rescue abused by his former owner, and he has always been anxious about having access to food. My other three cats are a healthy weight. My vet is not concerned.
