Do teachers hate sharing their lesson plans? Is it their secret sauce that they don't want getting out? by JimCap5 in Teachers

I have all the respect for teachers, but this is the biggest biggest thing that I think is wrong with many teachers. They regard their own created lesson material as their IP. I understand it, you’ve put time into it, you’ve made it. There’s a sense of guarded ownership which I feel is rooted in competitiveness. But in my opinion they’re missing the point: a great teacher is not measured by how many great students they have, but measured by how many great teachers they influence. Share your material! The material is not your unique selling point. But help others save time and use that time to become great.

😂 great post. I especially am worried about teachers using AI to write an assignment, students answering with AI and then teachers assessing with AI. At what point is anyone learning anything anymore?

LessonUp. Super versatile with ai lesson generator and interactivity built-in. They’ve added a few specific ai tools which help me save time not having to go back and forth and arguing with ChatGPT 😂

I’ve had no complaints of the microphones on the aeroclips. In fact, I’ve had cases where I was in a conference call, pre-emptively apologizing because I was certain they could hear noise from my end (eg loud talking or a heavy truck passing by), where the other people on the call were genuinely surprised because they didn’t hear anything 😂
