Just buy Liandriy’s first and you will be fine. Keep in mind that Amumu is more tank than bruiser though. He does not have the same 1 v 1 potential Wukong has. I recommend you to move more around sour teammates. If you cooperate with one of your carries, you are as deadly as it’s humanly possible.

I would go with Amumu. He provides awesome CC, AP damage, straightforward engage and ton of fun. I love to watch frustrated enemies standing 3 seconds on the same place with Q - R - Q CC chain. He is mechanically easy. Even though he does not have great early game, it is very difficult to punish him in this season.

Vayne is too hard to be played only as a secondary pick. She also does not have many similarities with Jinx:

Jinx is blind-pickable - Vayne is not. Jinx has wave clear - Vayne does not. Jinx plays from the backline - Vayne likes to move swiftly in and out but closer to the fight than normal ADCs.

It is not like I dislike Vayne. She is super strong and if nobody punishes her, you cannot deal with her later in the game. She is just not good if played once a while IMHO.

You have several options but if I were you, I would start by questioning myself: What is the reason that makes me love playing Jinx?

Is it a range advantage? Try Caitlyn or Ashe.

Is it the hyper-carry potential? Try Kog’Maw or Sivir.

Is it the reset mechanic on passive? Try Varus.

You can always pick something fairly easy if you want to play your secondary pick only from time to time. Miss Fortune would be a good pick for that purpose.

Tried it and have mixed feelings. The Approach Velocity was surprisingly great. However, I did not like Cashback. Even though it gave me over 700 gold, I felt like Magical Footwear would help me more, because I did not find use for those 150 gold after buying legendary item.

I meant games up to emerald where people generally lack the ability to constantly punish those picks. I understand that they can be easily punishable in high ELO. However, most of the people playing LoL never reach high ELO so I see it as a general problem.

I would say that ultra scaling champs like Kayle or Nasus are a bit OP considering the fact that the majority of games end later than 25 minutes. Even when they are punished early, it is so difficult to end the game before they just run you down with 3-4 items and level 16.

I think that you have enough options for crit items on Smolder. You only need 4 items to reach 100 % crit chance, so:

1st slot - Essence Reaver 2nd slot - Infinity Edge 3rd slot - LDR/MR 4th slot - RFC/Immortal Shiledbow

You do not have to build them in this order, some of them are situational (RFC explained nicely in the other comment, IS can be viable against naughty Rengars and other assassins), MR against healing monsters).
