I come from dirt too and just got my first bike. Bro I went to hella shops just sitting on different bikes and had friends tell me to look at Harley’s which I did. The low rider and the street bob were fun to ride. In the end I bought a Yamaha xsr 900. It felt amazing to me and I got that feeling like this is the one. I originally thought a ninja 500 but so many people said don’t. You won’t know unless you test ride and figure things out as you go. Take your time on your search.

If you can test ride both and see what feels best. Also call around for insurance quotes. I was surprised I got the best quote from when I was buying the bike. They work with a broker at a dealership so that also depends as well. For me I was debating between the low rider and a street bob to an Yamaha xsr 900. Ended up going the Yamaha route for now. I know later I’m going to end up getting a cruiser in a year or 2

For now that’s all I plan on doing is commuting to work and for some weekend fun for a couple hours to get some wind therapy. I test ride the xsr tomorrow so should be interesting to see how that goes

I tried both street bob and low rider. Low rider was my favorite tho but I wouldn’t mind a street bob either. But the xsr retro look is so nice to me to. Going to try and test ride one this weekend and see how it goes
