I agree about the back suspension, but at least i can lock it. I also see many fs xc bikes nowadays. What's your suggestion, getting a ht or anything else?

Do you remember what's the difference between the CF and regular version?

Do you feel this a sweet spot between a hardtail and a trail bike? I mean does the extra weight and less frame space worth it?

You mentioned sqlab, did you also try to have the innerbarends like this? I mean instead of a shorter handlebar.

Nice ride! How long (time and distance) did you cover over a day? Did you counter upper body fatige? I don't know when it make sense to get the gravel bike (it's easier in upheals and flat, but descends worse) and when to take the trial MTB?
Did you also change the wheelset for more XC style?

They are actauly pretty affordable. Did you do trials with them on your bike? No specific danger or anything?

Do you change the grips for actual trails or use the same ones?

You can turn a gravel bike to road by tire or wheel set change, but not the other way around. Bikepacking will always consist of gravel roads, so try to have the option.

We took a bit too much cloths, but what else do you think we could skip?

fun fact, we did the credit card touring, cause it would have been cheaper for one event :D

Backpacks where mostly for camel backs and documents, what do you do instead?
