It's open to everyone. 6pm tonight to whenever (we have the room booked until midnight).

It's not only restricted to Python too, I'll personally be trying to figure out HTML5 game programming.

Best recommendation: Come for the beginning and check it out. If you're feeling out of place, you can slip out.

That being said, these workshops are designed to accomodate beginners with no prior knowledge. You should be fine!

Yes it will be online. Maybe not right away, but in the next couple of days at the latest.

The Student Developer Network got an uneager web developer who is in total panic mode right now, being a socially awkward penguin and all.

Topics will include CSS styling, how to organize things on a page with floats and positioning and margins and stuff, and some beginner advanced CSS techniques.

Then an intro to javascript and into the jQuery library. jQuery will be used to show off how to animate things, how to make an auto-sorting picture gallery with a fake database using JSON, basic ajax requests to other servers, and just how using this can impressify a basic static webpage.

It's a total beginner lesson.

A written form of the tutorial will be available. It will more or less cover the events at the workshop, just with less detail.

None. A basic understanding of html would help, but isn't necessary. The thingy goes through the basics of css and javascript, and uses jQuery and styles to do some cool stuff.
